My name is Jerry Docteur and I always had a keen interest in history.  In 1980 I was living in Albany, NY, and working 35 miles to the South in Hudson, NY.  Every day on my way to work I passed by the retirement home of President Martin Van Buren.  It was a National Park Service Site, but they had not begun to restore it.  I responded to a newspaper ad to form a friends group to assist with the restoration.  I joined, and soon became the President of the group.  I began to buy Martin Van Buren letters and documents as a hobby.  In 1983 I founded Pages of History to buy and sell the autographs of presidents and other historic figures.  The business was immediately successful and over the years I expanded into sports and entertainment autographs, plus many types of historic documents.  Today I have customers in 75 countries and I am recognized as a dealer throughout the autograph community.  I am a registered dealer with the Universal Autograph Collector’s Club #036 and a member of the Manuscript Society.  I adhere to the codes of ethics of both groups.

If we do not have it in our collection we can more than likely find it for you.

Since the items are available 24 hours a day the item may have already been sold and had not been removed from the website. The first purchaser will be sent the item and those that tried to purchase the same item later will automatically be sent a refund via PayPal. All items are guaranteed authentic and we will gladly refund the purchase price upon return of the item in the same condition it was sent. Shipping and insurance is included in the purchase price.
